just a quick model (partly used kitbashing), which i came up with during a flyerdesign workflow. the flyer now features another version of this bot, but i just still love this version. completely modeled and rendered in blender. for rendering i used cycles with own nodesetups of course.
Very nice modeling, love the materials. I would have a few issues as to how that gun and arm fit back in the shell . Looks like a nasty surprise to find when baking.
thanks alot mate. and i must confess that i didn't thought to much about its whole functionality. it was just the look i aimed to achieve. but hey its fiction, lets think in case of nanoparts ... when it retract back into the shell it will reveal into million smaller parts

Oh you are welcome I love nagging people about such things eheheh, just kidding. I on the other hand am always concerned with these things... up to the point were it can be a problem to create anything, so I'd say think about it... but not too much
